Fabulous stay! This property was stunning! Impeccable & well appointed interiors, lovely continental breakfast, gorgeous grounds, lovely bed linens and comfortable bed & pillows. Hosts were so helpful with suggestions. Highly recommend French Fields!

Super clean and quiet facility.
This motel is quite close to the Picton Ferry Terminal, maybe about 2 minutes by car. One would think that the traffic must be terrible but it is not the case. The street is quiet and another 2 minutes or so to the waterfront area where there are a lot of restaurants. There are also 2 supermarkets close by.
The room is a good size, with a kitchenette, equipped with hobs and microwave and toaster. Good supply of tea and coffee.

They squeezed us in when all flights to Wellington were cancelled due to inclimate weather. Ultra accommodating. Delightful hosts, super clean room, very welcoming. Our stay could not have been better. Absolute highest recommendation.
Our stay at this venue was fantastic! The cabins themselves were extremely charming - new construction with a great kitchenette, modern bathroom, comfortable beds. On the estate, there are sheep to watch and a common area for activities. Dave and Helen were such welcoming and helpful hosts! Their personal touches such as the freshly baked lemon loaf and recommendations to eat in town made the stay even enjoyable.
