"Very spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Could use some updates. Room included a kitchen with sink, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Dishes and utensils were also included. Property has beautiful vegetation, some being exotic. Manager was quite congenial."

A group of 7 siblings took a road trip last year and we happenned to find this little jewel of a hotel by accident as the one we had chosen was not available. We had a 2 night stay and we all fell in love with this beautiful property. We enjoyed it so much we decided to do it again this year and had just as great a stay if not better as this time around most of the construction that was being done last year was completed and we were able to enjoy the full completed property.

…missing a connection sucks a$$ and when you’re disgruntled and have no where to go - finding out this hotel was in this airport turned my frown upside down and I went asleep. They were able to accommodate a late check out which subsided the lack of flights out of here and having to sit for a day made it not dreadful. Basically if you get stuck in Guadalajara I would stay here.
Great short stay at Hacienda del Lago. Staff was excellent. Owner of establishment personally gave me a lift to restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon and taxi's were booked.
La pasamos muy bien, el hotel está muy bonito y bien cuidado, el agua de la alberca está calientita y la comida muy rica. Si lo recomiendo. Además tienen servicios de spa.
Our stay there was great. The food in the restaurant was good on some days and awful on on other days. We were able to tell that there was different chefs. Some took more pride in preparing the food and some just didn't care.
