Hotels in Sandviken

Amazing breakfast! Room as clean and bed as comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent. Front desk staff super helpful in suggesting which restaurant to go to. Walkable to all of Bryggen

The Home Hotel met or exceeded our expectations, and provided as pleasant a stay as we could have hoped for. The observation tower offered an excellent panorama of Bergen's port, and the included breakfast, coffee, and dinner made the stay quite a bargain for such quality lodgings. Our room was huge by European standards and very comfortably furnished. We have stayed at three other hotels in Bergen over the years, and none of the others comes close to the Home Hotel's warmth and charm.

Amazing breakfast! Free. New facility. Convenient to warf area. Room was refreshed daily.

Excellent in city hotel. Close to everything. Walkable. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

Outstanding! Parking below the hotel. Breakfast and dinner every day. One block from the waterside. Weather was excellent. Staff was very friendly helpful.

Nothing

It’s a short walk from Bergen station but is situated in such a beautiful part of the city. While it can be hilly, I think the water views are well worth the extra steps.

The hotel was charming and in a great location -- very near all of the best sights in Bergen. The staff was extremely helpful.

Great location near the bryggen and the funicular. A single room is very simple (classic for Europe). No chair and no closet. It is what I expected. One thing could be improved. The "hot" shower was a "warm" shower. Avery nice breakfast with friendly staff. The only criticism was the "hot" tea water. It was warm tea water. Friendly helpful staff who speak English better than some people at home. It is an old but nicely remodeled and maintained.

what a cute little place! I wish we could have stayed longer. Very kitschy and cute. Would definitely recommend.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Bergen. A short 10 minute taxi from the port. They also have a flybus that stops in front of the hotel too. The breakfast was ready for those who wanted a grab a bite before taking off for a day of adventuring. It's a 7 minute walk from the fisherman market. A great location and overall a great hotel.

We were welcomed by the staff who offered us refreshments while we checked in and then were walked to the lift. The room was beautiful and clean. If in this area again I will stay here again.

Due to flight delays we arrived at Zander K at midnight with hopes that the hotel would not be frustrated by our late arrival. To our surprise the front desk was very quick and friendly. Room was small but clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Zander K gets top marks from us.

We spent a pleasant 3 nights here. The hotel has a bright, quirky contemporary decor that might be hard to live with long term but is cheerfully uplifting for a short stay. The motion-detecting light that comes on every time you walk into the open plan bathroom is disconcerting, and not quite as good an idea in practice as it sounds in theory, at least when sharing a room. It's about 10 minutes walk from the train station and very close to the fish market, the funicular and the staying pont...

This hotel was amazing! I was traveling with my two adult children and we had the perfect room - a “family” room. I called before we arrived to see if we could get a room on the wharf side and when we hot there they had made it happen! The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. We never left hungry! It is right by the fish pier so all of the things you may want to do are within walking distance or a bus stop. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else - this place is wonderful!!!

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location...The room as large and very nice, the hotel is beautiful, location could not have been better...just steps from the fish market and shopping in the harbor...oh and do not miss the breakfast buffet -it's excellent!

The hotel suited all our needs. They were wonderful to allow an early check in after a long travel from the US

Great location. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Walls of the shower are glass to there could be exposure to the room. Small bathroom, but otherwise very lovely hotel.

Done

Had a fantastic stay! The staff was so kind and super helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. They even have a room where you can do your own laundry which was a bonus!
