"The bathroom is very small. It requires planning for a larger person, especially an older person, to enter and exit the shower cubicle.
In the shower there is a pump of combined body/hair wash. I always take my own shampoo and conditioner as my hair goes to straw if I use the liquid from the pump."

We accidentally made our reservation for one day earlier than it should have been. The staff did everything possible to make the needed changes without complaint. They were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Parking was easy, beds were comfortable, area is perfect. Would highly recommend!!
Wonderful stay. The staff is super friendly and the service is superb. The hotel is Super stylish, a wonderful combination of modern decor and Provençale vibe.
Could use more tables in the garden, as it was a wonderful place to have breakfast or relax. It was hot outside while we were there, and the central AC was wonderful. Perfect temperature in the room. We really enjoyed Grand Just!
We loved this place from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room which was comfortable and clean, small and simple. We threw open the shutters and windows to catch the cool breeze and sunset. We took a quick swim as the last rays of warm sun shone. We had a wonderful 3 course dinner and wine for two and then breakfast in the morning, both outside and enjoyed the view of the gardens and surrounding fields, all of which were bathed in light reminiscent of a Vangough painting. Not far from the street car and the metro so we could navigate easily to and from Old Port and beaches day and night - and some cute bars and cafes nearby for when we were lazy, or enjoying apero on our balcony which faced a cute courtyard.
We spent 6 nights here as our home base for exploring Marseille and had a lovely time! Would stay again when visiting Marseille for sure -
The property was great - so close to the airport - and room and rate were great but what really stands out to me is that I realized I had forgotten my wallet in my room after I checked out and was at the airport and the manager found it and brought it to me at the airport. Exceptional!!!!
The Alex Hotel & Spa was booked due to it's close proximity to the train station. The staff upon check-in were helpful & friendly and our room was clean and renovated - it was one of our favorite stays in France! Also, the balcony was a plus and was a great way to relax and unwind after a day of travel while still enjoying the city.
We enjoyed our stay. Spacious room, aesthetically pleasing, bright space. Prime location & very walkable area. We enjoyed to cafe downstairs for some cheese,wine & to people watch. Would stay here again.
Great place to stay. Close to the old harbour. Very trendy rooms. No TV, but a great vinyl collection in the common area (I spent one evening listening to Astrud Gilberto on their old school system). Oliver, the host, is awesome. The outside is very unassuming (we walked by it twi
ce), but the interior is very modern and the common space and garden (where you can pick fresh oranges right of the trees for breakfast) is terrific.
I really like NH hotels . The staff was very friendly and helpful during this covid situation. The room was perfect, great space, large sofa, chairs , desk , large mirrors, nice wallpaper, beautiful balcony space with views, this lobby was nice & clean . Great location , you can walk to shops, markets, and the pier ,mall, and the port etc.. great for families or Business trips etc... I really don't have any cons because my stay was great and when I return to Marseille i will be checking in to NH...
