Not the best parking situation, we did find an inhaler and pill under our bed but other than that the room was very clean and nice and the staff was amazing. We would stay again.
Room had all the amenities i was looking for. Great view, balcony, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, plenty of towels and blankets, silverware and dishes supplied. Good customer service at the front desk. Used the convenient laundry room which was clean and affordable. The only improvement would be a tub long enough to fully stretch out. Definitely plan to return.
Staying aboard is very relaxing. Happy hour and breakfast are unrivaled, every detail is clearly thought of. The food and company was amazing. This was our second stay and we intend to make it a regular spot.
Had a fabulous 2 days watching the King Tides! Anchor Inn Resort was a delight for sure! Welcoming staff, very hospitable, older facility but very clean and just downright a fun place to stay! Will definitely stay again!!
We’ve been to sandcastle countless times and have always enjoyed our stay and this time proved to be even better. We had a few room mishaps and a plumbing issue that the hotel staff immediately tried to fix. They were very apologetic and did their best to resolve the issue. They even went above and beyond and gave us a free night stay. This will always be my choice of hotels when staying at the beach.
We'll stay here again. Love the access to the beach and it's more remote location. Our room was comfortable and fun with old movie star decor. We spent the night with Marilyn Monroe!
We were crabbing in Newport and the La Quinta is a beautiful hotel close to the bay. It was so convenient for us with ample parking for our boat. The gentleman who worked the front desk when we arrived, I think his name is Peter, was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and so energetic! His positivity was infectious! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! My check in was smooth and the person at the desk was so kind and helpful to me and my partner. The room was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The pillows were to die for too. So cozy. The pool and spa area was clean, well stocked, and open late so we could enjoy it after the crowds left for the night. The included breakfast is DELICIOUS! Newport is so special and The Landing is a great spot to stay. The best part is the balcony, view, quiet bedroom and having kitchen to make simple breakfast or lunch. Abundant dinner option and fish lovers paradise!
