Loved our time in Newport and our stay at the oceanfront hotel, they even gave me a box of chocolate and a bottle of apple cider for my birthday, very nice touch. Looking forward to returning next year

Nice ocean view, very helpful staff, comfortable beds. The only thing is you will need a high clearance vehicle to enter the parking under the hotel, it's a very steep angle, but there was plenty of parking available in there parking lot across the street. Overall we had a wonderful trip.

Was like staying in an abandoned hotel. No staff on duty, no activity in the lobby or access to the patio, had to do everything through The Elizabeth. Other than that, room was clean, view was nice. Staff at the Elizabeth were pleasant.

The lobby is being renovated but other than that the room was great and had a really nice view. The staff was also very friendly. It’s walking distance from a lot of good restaurants & shops.

The room was clean, no coffee pot in room. Had to walk to another hotel for coffee and just grab and go breakfast. Only one table for sitting. Parking was atrocious. It was on ocean but windows were so salted over that you couldn’t see out of them. You couldn’t even get into building without using your room card. Very inconvenient if your hands were full.

The view from the room was beautiful, even though we had heavy fog. You can see the lighthouse light to the south of the hotel. Right on the beach, too.

It was under a renovation, so had to use a small lobby at the next building. Breakfast on a small table with no seating area except four armchairs. I still can give a good grade because after the renovation this place can be much better. The beach is great, rooms are large, good beds and clean sheets. Most of all the temp was 64F while Portland area was 91F, cannot complain!!

Clean, Spacious, Remodeled, all the amenities. Everything worked. The only negative is that the lobby is closed and guests need to use the lobby next door at the Elisabeth.

It was a decent stay for what we needed it for which was sleep! It’s currently being renovated, so there is not a front desk staff at that building. You have to go to the neighboring hotel for service, which is fine, just not ideal. Grab and go breakfast was alright- enough for a start to your day. Great room views. Beach access & parking was perfect. Staff was awesome! Rooms/elevators are pretty outdated and not air conditioned- had to use the provided box fan/open windows (one didn’t have a screen- seagulls eyed it!). Overall, it was decent for a short coastal stay, but definitely not for those looking for an upscale location.
