"Great location with short walking distance to both the subway and local conbinis. Friendly and helpful staff! Clean room, although very small but that was expected and is part of the Japanese experience."
"Hotel was nice and clean although room was smaller than other APA rooms.
Location was good and easy transport links to Namba and other parts.
Would highly recommend the hotel for single travellers."
"Lovely hotel in a great location of Osaka. Convenient for the metro to get around. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were a little small but were clean and in good condition. WiFi was poor and no English channels on the TV. Good value for money though and would stay there again."
"Amazing stay with amazing staff, Quick and helpful. Also the hotel was luxurious, nice and modern.
The breakfast was different than the typical in a good Way."
"A great hotel in a nice location very close to Kyobashi Train Station, and an easy walk to the Osaka Castle. One of few hotels that has a nice outdoor pool with a great view. Excellent amenities in the rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English."
"We spent a wonderful week at the Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre Midosuji and truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The location was perfect for exploring Osaka, with the subway nearby and plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions within easy reach. Having breakfast included every morning was also a great convenience and made our days much easier, especially when we were out sightseeing....
"Perfect place to stay for our short 4 day trip to Osaka! Location was perfect!! Right on the main line — 20mins walk to dontobori / 5 min train ride! Room was clean too and we had a great view from our window too! Would definately stay here. "

If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Osaka Exchange Building— just one of the monuments in Chuo. You could also start your cultural experience by heading over to the museums in the area. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander.

In short it was perfect. Station right next door with none of the noise or heavy foot traffic and walking distance to many choices. And of course. Family mart next door was amazing. Great hotel! would definitely stay again.
The room suited our family of five well. Traveling to Japan requires awareness that spaces tend to be smaller. Relative to last year’s accommodation, this size seemed appropriate to us. The staff remained highly helpful and exceptionally kind throughout our stay.
Location, The Design is truly lovely! Every amenity is perfection. We are architects and the collection of books in the Library/ Lobby was exceptional. If you value attention to detail as we do this will be the place for you!
We stayed for 3 nights. I would rate this hotel as PERFECT.
There are a few great things:
- Super quiet. I am extremely sensitive to noise, so big kudos to this.
- Great location. 4 min from Nagahoribashi station, and 8min from Shinsaibashi station. Walkable distance to Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping area.
- Friendly and multi-lingual front desk.
- Clean and spacious room. It's an extremely big hotel room in Japan.
I will stay here again the next time visiting osaka.
The hotel is stunning!!
We were traveling for a very special occasion, and the hotel sent us a special gift that consisted of three sets of chopsticks, cookies, and a voucher for a drink at their beautiful bar. This was very thoughtful, and we really appreciated it.
There were 6 bottles of water refilled every morning and a ton of high-quality facial products, including bath salts for the tub. The location of this hotel is fantastic, close to everything, including the metro.
Train station was 5minutes walk from the hotel.
Though the room was on the smaller side, it was very fancy and had all the amenities and was well kept.
The staff was very nice and helpful as well.
They called us a taxi when we needed to get our luggage to the airport and walk us down and waited in the cold with us for the taxi to arrive. Great service!
Great location for Osaka. Many things are walkable and those that aren’t the train station is just a few minutes away. The hotel is great and rooms are good sized. The breakfast buffet is decent
The hotel was perfect for our needs. We had 3 beds in our room for our family. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was very good. Location was also great. One street over from a covered street with all kinds of restaurants and shops
Fantastic Stay – Comfortable, Convenient, and Exceptional Service
I had a wonderful stay at Cross Hotel Osaka. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to help in any way they could. Their hospitality made a real difference and added a personal touch to the experience.
The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh options to start each day off right. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and...
We had a little bit of a hard time finding the entrance to the property because it’s was on the side of the building in the alleyway but it was flanked by a Lawsons AND a Sugi Pharamcy (both of which we visited several times during our 4 day stay.
The check in is on Floor 2 and staff was very friendly and helpful and quick!
Our room was on the 14th floor and I selected a corner room with the hope it would be spacious enough for three adults. When I opened the door I was relieved that there were...
super close to namba or shinsaibashi stations, endless restaurants and shopping at dotonbori. Excellent breakfast buffet and adjoining rooms. 11 out of 10.
