"Lovely hotel in great location within Cáceres old town and overlooking a plaza. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as all local attractions. Hotel itself is an old Palacio so very atmospheric but stairs to contend with for some rooms if you have bags but staff very helpful.
Great breakfast, happy to recommend."
"A beautiful gem of a hotel in a small city! You can see the sights in an afternoon but it is worth lingering for a weekend just to spend time at the hotel. It’s stunning- stylish, comfortable, feels brand new, lovely staff."
"I stayed half board and the evening meal and breakfast were really good. I parked my motorcycle in the secure garage. I would stay here again and book half board again"
"Very good location with underground parking. Always good when travelling on a motorbike.
Friendly welcome at reception. Good size room with the all important comfortable bed and a good shower. The bar is a good size with friendly and efficient bar staff. Good tapas. We also had a meal in the evening, fish, very nice. Also, good pool and lounge area. This was our 2nd stay, no doubt, we will stay again"
"So ehow had the disabled room, but all ok, carpark is accessible by a car lift just next to the entrance. Convenient very short walk into the main square. Lots of good places to eat and drink"
"This is a lovely, small hotel right next to Plaza Mayor; a superb location close to everything and walkable everywhere. The hosts, Rosa and Santiago are the nicest, warmest and most helpful people. A simple but satisfying breakfast to start the day. We will stay here again when we return to this amazing historic city."
"Amazing location, friendly staff, huge beautiful room at a great price. In the old town, easy walking distance to all the sites, yet on a quiet street. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay!"
"Excellent location. Room was very nice and the bathroom good size. Elevator was helpful but optional. Check in was awkward with their automated entry but once in you switched to manual keys which worked fine. Very convenient to food"
"A very basic hotel which is out of town and no food available only a vending machine but it is very good value for money if you just want a bed for the night.. so if you are on a budget .. its very good!"
"We had an amazing visit to Cáceres and apartment was perfect. Parking across the street, and only a few minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the old town. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity."

Every thing was great. Just make sure you point your GPS to the parking garage, not the hotel. Once you've parked, use a map or your phone to guide you through a few narrow streets to the plaza where the hotel is located.
Rather than a misunderstanding that the receptionists did not explain us well about the limit of the 6 persons using the SPA (We understood that one should reserve only by rooms for 45 minutes), everything else was excellent, the decoration, the cleanness of the room and especially the breakfast which worths to pay for it.
At their bar/restaurant our only complaint was that we ordered Risotto with Salmon but the risotto was just 5 or 6 spoons. The portion was very small so we decided to dine...
Palacio de Oquendo means Oquendo's palace--enough said--it is a high-end property. Check-in was flawless. Our room was a short stairway up; they offered to carry our bags to our room. We did not experience the breakfast buffet but it looked amazing. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed; bathroom was amazing. Top-notch all the way. Hotel is located a few steps from the main town plaza. Hotel bar was really nice--we saw Spain's FIFA 2026 semi-final game there. Cáceres is a small...
This hotel is definitely a 5 Star hotel!! While not in walking distance of the old part of the city, it is a short drive away and there is plenty of cheap parking. Only complaint about the hotel s was the thermostats. They seemed to have a mind of their own... We had two rooms and neither one functioned as expected. Easily solved by opening the beautiful giant windows
This hotel was a great find that made our vacation a comfortable and memorable one. The room and the decoration of the hotel was warm and welcoming, and everything provided in the room was in great condition. In addition, the staff were really friendly and helpful on giving recommendations. Location-wise, the hotel was surrounded by shops and restaurants, and in close proximity to plaza mayor and the old town.
In the beautifully preserved UNESCO village of Caceres, this parador commands a top notch location just off one of the main plazas. The staff is exceptionally accommodating and provides a warm welcome and high service. Our standard room was very large and well appointed with good amenities, a comfortable bed, great shower, high grade linens and towels. The wifi worked very well throughout the building. There is onsite parking available but it is somewhat limited. However, we were informed...
We have stayed here on many occasions and it is always a very enjoyable experience. The staff are super friendly and they always go the extra mile to help their guests. The food is always spectacular and the area around the pool and the grounds in general is well maintained. As we travel with our pet dog, the extensive grounds are particularly appealing to us. As very pleasant stay and we cannot wait to come back
Amazing location, friendly staff, huge beautiful room at a great price. In the old town, easy walking distance to all the sites, yet on a quiet street. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay!
We had an amazing visit to Cáceres and apartment was perfect. Parking across the street, and only a few minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the old town. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.
We enjoyed the food at the campground restaurant and our server was friendly and fun! A short drive into the old town of Caceres.
We did have ants in the kitchen even though we only had a little food with us.
Excellent location. Room was very nice and the bathroom good size. Elevator was helpful but optional. Check in was awkward with their automated entry but once in you switched to manual keys which worked fine. Very convenient to food
