Changed to rm w. twin beds, fewer cig burns. Bathroom grimy, lack of maintenance everywhere. 24 hour/day very loud traffic noise. Not a 4-star hotel as advertised!!! Far too pricey for value."

The staff was so friendly and helpful!! If there was ever a reason to return to 21, the staff would be it. I asked a lot of questions and they were always very patient and helpful. The hostel is located in Yangon's China town which was great considering the Chinese New Year was about to kick off.The lounge area had a good vibe, too. It was a short 3D2N stay. I check it early - 10.30am. The hotel staff quickly prepare my check in. They are all friendly and helpful with smiles. One thing to improve is their breakfast. Buffet Breakfast is prepared from 6.30am. Very early timing and the food turns quite cold when I went to eat at 8am.
Great value for the price. Located in Chinatown in the heart of the action. The staff are wonderful. They speak pretty good English. And the guys outside are terrific and helping you with your bags and getting to where you want to go. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be close to all the major attractions. Also The breakfast upstairs on the roof is excellent with a wonderful view. We very much enjoyed our stay.
What an amazing place! The Governor's Mansion is a beautifully landscaped, well-maintained boutique hotel with so much history and charm. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and bright. The staff are all very professional, kind and helpful. If you want a relaxing and pampered place, the Governor's Mansion is a good choice.
The hotel is quite comfortable with decent size rooms, premium bedding, a refrigerator and great AC. The hotel has been maintained quite well, but is a bit dated. The service is excellent and it offers a huge breakfast buffet. The best part of the hotel is that it is across the street from the people's park where one can walk on concrete paths under the canopy of trees. The rates are quite reasonable.
I loved staying at this hotel, and came back when I was leaving the country. The room is huge and very light, with windows you can open. The bed is also very large and you have a lot of desk space which is important to me as a solo traveller - and good wifi. Best of all is the breakfast - some of the best food I had in this country which has amazing food. And to eat in the rooftop bar with the air full of birds as the sun rises is a wonderful experience.
We are happy with this hotel. We stayed there for 2 weeks. Every morning, we have excellent breakfast including variety of American food and Burmese food such as monhinga, noodle soup, fresh and organic fruits, Indian food. Hotel staff are excellent.
