"The Lodge At Vail is an old hotel but is a fantastic location. Even really steps away from the activities in vail Village. The staff was great. The rooms were a little dated and worn but comfortable. I would stay here again."
"Our stay here, with our dog, was wonderful! We had everything we needed and the staff was super helpful and pleasant! It’s a great location. It is close to Stephen’s Park, an amazing dog park, and they have a free shuttle to and from town….which is close."
"We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit during our stay over 4th of July weekend. The condition and quality of the hotel are top notch. Breakfast was great. Lots of food options available. We had a great time."
"The studio unit had plenty of space and the kitchen was outstanding. Very comfortable bed. Really liked it.
The full breakfast was very good although the scrambled eggs were on the cool side. Really nice selection."
"Sonnenalp is suck an original cool hotel with its Scandinavian theme. Great staff, rooms and bar. It also has a great location. The breakfast buffett is the best in Vail! I already look forward to returning."
"10/10 stay! Staff and hotel was great ! We were super impressed with the attention to detail for our 15M old! She got snacks & a toy during check in and they even included a teepee in our room for her to play. Would stay here again!"

The Austria Haus hotel offers the luxury of a quiet retreat right in Vail Village. After we pulled our car in front of the hotel, we enjoyed a stress-free stay. Valet parking was very convenient, and both check in and check out were fast and efficient. The staff in the hotel was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious, clean and comfortable. There was a shower as well as a very nice bathtub and we appreciated the quality of the shampoo,...
My wife and I went to Vail (from the Denver area) for a little get-a-way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I booked the Arrabelle based on it's reviews, and we were not disappointed -- 1st class across the board. Everything was wonderful -- the room (with a fireplace), the staff (from the front desk to the concierge to the shuttle driver), and the food, although we just had the included breakfast buffet, which was really special -- be sure to get a made-to order-omelet, but be careful...
Don't let the 3 stars fool you. The rooms are clean, and the property is quiet for a good night's sleep. The only reason this hotel isn't a 4 star is because of the outdated tile in the kitchens and bathrooms. Everything else is up to date and very, very nice. By the way, the tile referenced is just outdated in color, not cleanliness. Bathrooms and kitchen are very clean.
The staff is courteous and helpful and kind--great service!
Pool and hot tub are perfect, right on Gore Creek close to...
Awesome views of the mountains! Wonderful amenities, comfortable beds. Very clean and welcoming. I only wish the fireplace had worked. Will definitely come back to this hotel. Vail is gorgeous!
The staff was wonderful, especially the guys at front door. Very knowledgeable about surrounding towns and things to do. Facility was beautiful. Fitness room nice and big with a lot of fitness things to choose from. Hospitality team was wonderful and always did a great job at cleaning our room and ensuring we had enough! Highly recommend
We had such a great stay. Staff made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful. The rooms are nice and great for people who are here to ski and not too fussed about a 5 star accommodation. Great proximity to Lionshead about a 5 minute walk from the door to slopes. Hot tub was great and they leave out snacks in the foyer at breakfast and in the afternoon. Overall we loved our stay it was exactly what we were looking for would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Across the street from Golden Peak lift. Short walk into Vail Village. Great breakfast!!!! I enjoyed the fireplace inside the room.
Cons: Parking. The underground parking spaces are limited for $40/day, and I had to circle around 3 times. Then I waited 45 minutes to see if anyone would leave to find a spot.
The hotel is a charming European-style hotel in the center of Vail. We enjoyed the ambience, deck, attached restaurant, inside parking etc. but want to warn potential guests that it is quite confusing at first. We used google maps but as we got closer, were instructed to park and walk the rest of the way--there is NO parking at that point but residential driveways. After a number of false starts we realized that some cars are permitted on the pedestrian-only area and there is first come parking...
Entire experience from check in to check out was fantastic. Room was large enough for five, a complimentary roll away was provided and stowed easily away during the day. The room was upgraded with solid surface countertops, ss appliances, tiled shower, balcony and a fireplace. At the end of a tough day skiing, the hot tub and sauna were great, only used the hot tub on interior of property as the hot tub on the outside was always occupied. Staff at the hotel was more than accommodating, fresh...
The facilities are all top notch but what really made the stay great is the staff. They were always very helpful above and beyond what was required. One of the housekeepers kept my 2 year old daughter from bolting out of the elevator as I'm standing there 7 months pregnant, arms full, unable to stop her. Then two of the employees saw us at our storage unit (not even on site), struggling to unload a heavy piece of furniture and offered to help. Its been such a helpful, relaxing boon to a very...
Simba Run was great property to stay at during our time in Vail. Could use a little more safety by keeping the entry doors from the garage into the property locked especially at night. Though there was a double lock, staying right off the elevator and by an exit door felt like we needed a little extra security like a cross bar on our unit door.
The entire unit was clean and very spacious for us. Very affordable for an offseason stay.
