"We had an amazing two nights at Solo Palacio. A beautiful Manor House in incredible surroundings! The infinity pool was stunning & the spa also. It would have been nice to have had a coffee machine in our suite tho. We’ll hopefully return again. "

"Good staff. Warm welcome. Old by-passed hotel typical of Spain. Just managing. Low room rate manages your expectations. Food was good. Warm atmosphere of locals. Only negative was the locked fire exit to the main bar. A push bar MUST be fitted. "

"This is a beautiful, grown up place to stay. Our room was immaculately clean, yet had lots of personal touches. The bed was so comfortable and the ensuite shower room was spacious and perfect for us. The sitting rooms are peaceful with coffee, biscuits and a range of Spanish art books to flick through. "We were 4 friends on a motorcycle trip through the Picos. This place looked amazing in the photos so we booked it. It was amazing when we got there. Situated in a quiet town overlooking the mountains, the place was beautifully kept, the staff were great, the food was very good, and the fact that our command of Spanish was very poor didn't stop us from having a great overnight stay. We didn't use the spa so can't comment other than it looked very nice."
