We booked a private penthouse and the night before checking in, I was contacted and told we were being upgraded which I thought was odd but didn’t think twice about it. Little did I know that the people who had checked in the day before us, complained about their room so they were moved into the room we had initially booked and we were told we were being “upgraded” bull crap!
Check in was meant to be at 2 but we weren’t allowed to check in till 3.30 because the “room” wasn’t ready. We checked in and the room was filth. The carpet was torn. Holes in the walls. Furniture was old and foul. Utensils in the kitchen were dirty. Rips and tears in the curtains. Aircon not working in the bedrooms. Balcony lights broken. Fridge broken and NO WIFI. Absolutely disgusted that the owner of a private penthouse doesn’t think they should put some money towards making the room stay able. We paid $1000 a night. Not bloody worth it. Don’t ever book a private penthouse at circle. We had to clean the rooms because it was filthy. Horrid that we actually stayed there but we had no choice. I have kids and wouldn’t let them walk around barefoot cause it was that gross. Now the pool area at circle, I think there’s a total of 10 pool Lounges around the pool. 10!! No other seating areas. We had to put all our stuff in a corner next to the building so we could go into the pool. They should invest in some cabanas or maybe some pool chairs and lounges. Not family friendly in my opinion at all! Don’t stay!
