Honestly an amazing stay. The bed was exceptional, room clean and bathroom quite clean. Exceptional in it is exactly what we wanted and needed. 5* not because it’s a ritz but because it’s clean, very comfortable and perfect location for cruise port.

We had a wonderful experience staying here during our time in Southampton. The property itself is lovely, and the team working here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our room was absolutely spotless, which is always a huge plus. The daily breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the location made exploring so easy. We were surrounded by shops and attractions all within a short walk.

We believe because we were Americans we were asked to leave by the young manager. I have reached out to the Premier Inn. They do not respond. They’re telling me I don’t have the booking. It’s not on my name meanwhile, it’s in my name and I’ve sent them the invoices. I just would avoid this hotel altogether. They treat you bad read the reviews.

We had booked and paid and we were asked to vacate after a one night stay because they were overbooked even though we had a paid booking. The manager told us we did not have a reservation even when I showed him a paid in full receipt. The real truth was the hotel was over booked.No apology no help just insults about it. I had to rewrite this review because they did not like the first review. so I’m saying that I would say be very careful with this hotel because if they are overbooked, you will be asked to leave even if you have paid in full.

It’s in a fabulous location 450 metres (up hill) from the central railway station and only 200 Metres from most of the best shopping in Southampton. I will be back if I cruise out of Southampton again - only 10 minutes in a taxi to the port which cost £12

Room was clean. The room had working air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend this Southampton hotel. Location was adequate with goid access to the train station and a lengthy (30 minutes) walk to the old town center. For the American travelers, the hotel does not provide wash cloths with the towels. Odd. Nonetheless, a very nice hotel.

We stayed at two Premier Inns in England, one in Southampton and the other in London Waterloo, both were not high end posh hotels but were reasonably priced , very well maintained and very conveniently located. Highly recommend them and they seemed to be located all over the UK.
