2/10 Mediocre

Never got the opportunity to check the cleanliness as the room we were allocated was not fit for purpose, therefore we left without staying

The hotel is situated right in the middle of the high street, so plenty of shops around. The double room was lively, very comfortable bed. We had an evening meal which was really good, plus breakfast in the morning which was equally good. The staff are so very helpful, plenty of parking at the back of the hotel with a lovely garden, would definitely stay here again .

Surprised by how big our accommodation was, more like an apartment! Extremely comfy beds, very clean, welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again.

Had everything we needed, in a great spot, breakfast great, quite noisy in the room until the pub closed but to be expected when staying in pub rooms. Helpful staff, great pub. Water pump/drain system in the bathroom was really noisy but suppose this can’t be helped with old building like this.

We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean with all the modern amenities you would need, yet still kept all the character with the old wooden beams and undulating floors. It had easy parking, at the back of the pub, and was in the middle of the high street with all of its independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay.

The room was clean, properly equipped and given it's above a busy pub and in a very old building, it was warm and reasonably quiet. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening. Good wine, food and setvice.
