I booked this cosy looking B&B from a recommendation I was given and it didn't disappoint. When I arrived late afternoon, I was warmly welcomed by Ellie the owner and her gorgeous dogs (very well behaved I might add). She even offered me freshly brewed coffee and a snack which was very gratefully received after my long-ish drive there. My single room was very cosy, immaculately clean and equipped with the essentials to make my 2-night stay very comfortable. This room had a wet room bathroom, equipped with body wash and shampoo (there's a hair dryer in the room also) a heated towel rail. I was handed a very comprehensive menu choice for breakfast the following morning - tea/coffee, juice, yoghurt, cereal, full English options, omelette, eggs benedict and even a 'Heritage breakfast burger'. Ellie was the perfect host and made me feel very comfortable during my stay. Very interesting to chat to and very knowledgeable of the local area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again myself.

we had a great stay breakfast was fantastic, only slight moan parking outside sometimes was unavailable , but there is a pay and display car park very close buy so when a space became available outside i moved my car .

Immaculate accommodation in a friendly homely B&B. So much care has gone into making the room comfortable and homely. The owner is so friendly and cannot do enough to help you.

We came to see Avebury and it was magnificent. We took the train to Bathe which was also wonderful. We made the mistake of not coming with a car which limited our access to many places. So come by car! However our hosts were helpful with rides and went above and beyond. Warm, friendly and gracious. Wonderful breakfasts!

We stayed at this amazing b and b for a night on our way home from Devon to Sheffield. We were made to feel at home immediately by Ellie and Rixie helping us with medication requirements without any trouble. The room was beautiful, tastefully furnished, comfortable bed and spotless shower room with quality towels and toiletries. The house itself is so interesting, full of beautiful artefacts, especially a huge array of mirrors. We were offered a wide breakfast selection which didn't disappoint, tasty, quality produce and home made bread. We would definitely like to return in the future.

This is a great place to stay. My room and the whole house was spotless and very comfortable and cosy. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was superb and I have yet to feel hungry, 9 hours later. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Home away from home

It was a joy to stay at Heritage B&B. The hostess was warm and welcoming. I felt like I’d been there before. The property was spotlessly clean and fresh. Breakfast was served hot and in a family dining room. It felt like home away from home. I definitely will return.

Absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful and charming guest house. The whole house is impeccably clean, finished to the highest of standards and full of character. Best of all though is the warmth of the fabulous hosts. Thank you for such a memorable stay and an excellent breakfast! Highly recommended!

This b*b is truly amazing i have never been made to feel so welcome. I had a early start and said i would have to miss breakfast my host would not here of it and got uo at 04:30 to make me two bacon and sausage rolls even the local people were not upset whe i mistook the foot path for a drive to the car park and got my van stuck for bit 5 stars all the way

Had a lovely stay - the owners were very welcoming and really went the extra mile to look after me when I was there. Room was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable - definitely recommend. Location is great - very central and opposite lovely park.

We had an amazing stay at the heritage bed and breakfast. The service was from start to finish and Ellie made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. The room was lovely and had everything we needed for the weekend including a kettle for tea in the morning. Breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh and homemade. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. Recommend to anyone staying in the area to stay at Heritage as you will you be well looked after and truly spoilt for choice with breakfast!

A real Gem -fabulous

Stayed for one night only and what a welcome we had ! Absolutely brilliant hosts, Ellie and Rexy made us feel so much at home. Beautiful house and spotless, amazingly comfortable bed. We were visiting a circus at Bowood house and asked for info on taxis, advised it may be difficult to get a return taxi, but no problem we'll take you there and pick you up...!!! Just fantastic. On our return we invited our hosts to join us for a drink at the local... on arrival at the Lansdown about 9.pm advised by the staff, just closed !!. We dodged a bullet there... so our fabulous hosts invited us to join them for drinkies.. just amazing! Terrific breakfast in another wonderful room. Highly highly recommend and would gladly stay again, really added an experience to a wonderful weekend, thank you both.
