Asi mentioned previously, Chinaz at the reception, Fouize (porter) and staff in canteen like Garbi and the sister who makes the Hamelot, make this hotel the place it is. Just nice genuine people who treat you so well. I hope i also showed respect and appreciation back!

When i arrived i was greeted by this lady called Chinaz ( may have spelt her name incorrectly). She was smiling cheerful and so bubbly. I knew i was in good hands. Reminds me of a R.E.M song 'happy shining people.' thats her in a nutshell. I then had a porter called Mr Faouzi Kheyafi. He took the trouble to show me how the TV works (Im a keen sports fan) but whenever he saw me, he was welcoming. The staff are engaged with were helpful. Even in morning, breakfast staff in canteen were faultless. Its a relatively new hotel. If you want to be picky, you can find minor areas to complain about, but the staff make this place what it is. Next to hotel is a nice cafe / mini restaurant. Medina is a 15 minute walk or 2euros in a taxi.

The facility is beautiful and well maintained. I was particularly impressed with the friendliness of the staff and how they go that extra mile to accommodate you. A big thanks to Asma. The hotel property and rooms itself are nice!! BUT major issues with the hotel staff and managers. I had many issues from the front desk and was even asked out and flirted with despite the fact that I am a happily married women. Please be AWARE the staff overall from the front desk to housekeeping to laundry and especially the bar and food does SPEAK or understand English well at all.

It was the worst visit ever! The staff was rude and harassed us because we exchanged money upon arrival and the next day the staff claimed they gave too much in dinar back to you. Also, I paid for express dry cleaning and did not get back in and had to wait and they would not give us the difference for express service. We ended up switching hotels even though we were paid up and they wouldn’t refund the difference. We sat down with management and told him everything we experienced and did not receive an apology of any sort. The staff does not speak good English so be aware of you plan to say

Worst hotel ever! May appear to be a luxury hotel but we were robbed and the management did nothing. Too many numerous issues to list and yes we complained only to get a sorry! Not good enough when $10,000 US dollars were spent here!!!! We switched hotels and it was like a breath of fresh air and cost less with alll inclusive amenities. The Pearl Resort and Spa only cared about money, money and more money. Save yourself!!!
