Overall, I recommend this hotel. The accommodations were clean and provided the needed amenities. We did lose our wifi for about 4 hours. The biggest problem with this is that there are no phones in the rooms. Therefore, the only way to communicate with hotel staff is via WhatsApp. Because of the location, it was very difficult to get a cell phone signal, so this presented minor problems, such as communicating with another cabin and the staff, during our stay. And if you can't call, you must walk for about 7 minutes to get to the main building. The food was of excellent quality and reasonably priced. The biggest problem was arriving. The hotel did not notify us that the final stretch of road was not paved. As a result, there were several times when our car bottom scraped against rocks, and an instance when we weren't sure we would be able to make it. In addition, it made the journey stressful and much longer than expected. I highly recommend an SUV for this trip. There was a problem with the jacuzzi not being warm that we reserved, which the staff did not handle well. The response was sorry for the inconvenience, but no compensation or solution was offered. Some of the staff would benefit from formal training in how to communicate with international guests and how to solve problems. Nonetheless, the onsite manager offered compensation the following day when she learned of the problem. The cost of the room included breakfast, a coffee tasting and a tour of the facilities, but
