The hotel is stunning, with beautiful views and nearly meets European and U.S. service standards. However, staff were kind but poorly trained, and the service was inconsistent, below expectations for a Leading Hotels of the World .
Arrival experiences: I was greeted, but my parents were not, and I had to find help myself then luggage misplaced. the security guard at the entrance was unwelcoming, saying it wasn’t his job to assist guests. I don't blame him its how he was trained.
The minibar in my room was broken and nearly empty. I had to ask for water to be delivered to the room (hot country )Some of our rooms received water and welcome treats, others, like my son’s, received nothing.
Hotel information was unreliable, we were told no restaurants were open on Saturday, but two in fact were.
Lastly, the noise levels at the pool and restaurant were uncomfortably high, unusual for a supposed five-star hotel.
The hotel experience in Israel leaves something to be desired.
