Very convenient spot right next to the Sloterdijk station. Unique and super cool experience if you want a break from the usual hostel situation.

It was an amazing experience. The stay was in a real train and it was really cool. Comfortable and clean.

Location is awesome, the room is special, however it is very small, less than 5 sqm per room for three pax. Suitable for backpacking but not with luggage..

Its is a cool experience, we enjoyed our stay and it was easy enough to get to and from the city well into the night.

Good experience. Clean, close to transportation. Staff was very nice and pleasant. It is tight though, so when you shower take all of what you need in the shower.

It was quiet, cheap and a very spontaneous idea (2h before arrival), yet they made everything a unique experience with high quality service and a cool serving team!! I look forward to come back!

Return visit

Feeling comfortable in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere is the reason for a return visit to the Train Lodge.

Overall nice place to stay for cheaper than most other Amsterdam options. Some showers and sinks broken which limited facilities. Naturally no sound insulation at all between rooms and some seriously inconsiderate guests in the early hours. Temperature was good but I wouldn’t like to be there during summer, as it was on the warm side. No room key is given, you are expected to leave your room unlocked all day or ask staff every time you want to enter and exit - this is ridiculous in my opinion. Staff are friendly and helpful, however we’re surprised I wanted my room locked. Well-located with a quick train into Amsterdam central.

Amazing an convenient experience

Amazing and unique experience. I don't get to sleep in a train hostel every day. It's also really well located since it's next to the train to the airport and city centre, the tram and the metro. There's staff 24 hours so it was safe.

Sleeping in a modified train is not something you do everyday so being able to experience it once was really cool. Only downside was that i am not fitted for the top bed but still a nice stay
