After reading the trip advisor's review, we booked this hotel due to convenience to train station and also near the Vietnamese neighbourhood. The location served our purpose. However the quality of hotel demands some review and attention.
The first night was horrific as we were given a room on second floor together with a group of young locals who were partying in the room with loud music, talk, running about and smoking deep into the wee hours. We called reception twice but to no avail. On third call, we demanded a change of room because the noise was too much and we could not sleep. They offered a temporary room on 4th floor to sleep over the night which helped to solve the problem.
The next day asked for a change of room because we do not want to experience the same issue for the next 2 nights and they did offer a room on 4th floor which was quiet and away from the noise which appeased us.
Apart from this issue we had a good stay. It is near the local con market, parkson and big C supermarket. We found a local eatery selling delicious Chinese Vietnamese food eg wanton noodles, Braised and roasted duck noodles/rice. Price is reasonable at 40-60k dong per dish.
It is also walkable to the dragon bridge and riverside along Bach dang street, about 30 min stroll and sightseeing at the same time.
