I had a great stay at my first bed and breakfast experience. I got runt of the litter as far as rooms go, with a room with two single beds, however the room was clean, bed was comfortable, my air conditioning worked, and the bathroom was clean - so overall it met my basic needs as I wasn’t there to stay really, just a place to lay my head. I count myself lucky to have even gotten a room as this area is always fully booked!
Check-in was easy, Cindy was great and she was there if I needed anything.
Breakfast was delicious both days, with good portions. They were generous with pouring more coffee. We got a time slot reservation for our breakfast and opportunity to talk to other travellers if you wished or not as you had your own tables of 2-4. I would recommend having music playing in the common dining room and sitting area. This would be a really nice addition to the stone silence that I noticed at breakfast.
The views are gorgeous from the back deck and there was a nice gravel road to walk down if you felt like taking a stroll. The deck was lovely with lots of places to sit and complimentary bug spray if you needed.
I would have loved a screened in gazebo and could have stayed out there much longer. Very nice and quiet.
Another great idea that would be welcoming would be a table with coffee, lemon water and some home made cookies in the afternoon- evening very visible as you made your way to your room.
Overall enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
