We had a quick stop for the night on a road trip with 4 adults and 6 teenaged boys. The Sage House was perfect for our needs! Beautifully remodeled, with plenty of room for all of us, and a great yard for the boys to get out and play yard games. Not much for food in McCammon, but there were a bunch of choices up in Lava Hot Springs, 15 minutes away. Beware, Lava was BUSY on a Saturday evening! Looked like a very fun town though! Floating, hot springs, live music, fun vibe! Wish we had more time to explore the area.

Room was spotless and beautifully upgraded, but this a very old small hotel in an isolated location. Nicely furnished kitchenette in my room but the nearest grocery store is 15 miles away. The front-desk person was very courteous but there was no staff on-site overnight.

Liked our room as usual. Lady who checked us in was very accomodating. Mini fridge might be going downhill as it didnt get very cold. Floor needs sanded and polished but i know what an undertaking that is, so remember to bring house shoes (slippers with good bottoms.)
