Friendly welcome and shown room. Room small but comfortable- tea/coffee makings, excellent shower and clean room. Not much room but to be expected at the price. Only downside was the noises revealers in the street at 0230- but beyond hotels responsibility. Stayed here before and would stay again

We arrived in the evening to find the bar busy with locals doing karaoke and thought the worst... The rooms were actually out the back and you couldn't hear the noise. Steep steps up to the room and narrow corridor, felt a little like a hostel with basic room. TV was small but did have access to Sky which was unexpected. Expensive for what it was, probably wouldn't stay again.

A lovely clean room.....staff were very friendly and helpful...breakfast was fresh and good. Bar was busy with very friendly customers. We traveled down from Scarborough for football v Buxton...after the game the bar was very busy but the home supporters made us very welcom.

Thought the location would be noisy, but the rooms were nicely tucked away behind the pub. Rooms are not spacious, but are well maintained and cleaned daily. Only issue I came across was that the shower waste needs some drain unblocker, but I'm not going to score them down for something that might never have been reported to them. Would definately recommend for a one or two night stay. Buxton too, is well worth a visit.

Really lovely room, set away from the pub. A band playing on Saturday night, and couldn't hear them from my room. Staff lovely, as we're the regulars who I got chatting to when I popped into the pub for a drink. Thanks for a great stay
