Every was in order and at one point I am sure this was a place for upper class. Now it’s still very decent and has clean linens and comfortable bed, it is starting to show signs of age. Beach nearby was super fun with large waves on a sandy shallow white sand beach I felt like a kid again getting knocked down and thrown about in the waves while not feeling threatened by a strong undertow

Very great place for a resort style stay. Beautiful rooftop restaurant/pool/views and super reasonably priced. Would recommend. Only complaints that I have were that it’s not very walkable anywhere and you’ll need to grab. I also had issues with the toilet that weren’t addressed properly until the day I left. Overall, I would stay again, but would request to move rooms if something like that happened again.

Not a 5 star resort. Building was very dated and clearly needs a refurb. View ruined by construction sites and the pool looked a bit dirty. Staff were nice but the dining area looked tacky for a 5 star. Miles away from the main area and the dreamland beach was anything but a dream. The car park and surrounding area has turned into decay. For the price it isn’t woeful but there’s definitely better options out there.

This hotel is so beautiful, the rooftop pool is very nice and it’s right on dream beach. Only issue is it’s further from restaurants but didn’t bother us with getting on a go jek anyway would definitely stay again.

I paid ($133.00) per night for the a suite and I only was given a regular room. I ask the front desk for an explanation an I was told that since I booked the room thru Expedia, I could only be given a regular room. To be able to book a suite, I would have to book through the hotel directly. The Kalapa hotel is a total scam. I have stayed at the hotel many times, but I will never stay there again.

Great location! Just a few steps down the stairs and you are on one of Bali’s best beaches. Room is huge with bathtub and great view of the golf course. Restaurant has an amazing view !!!
