The location was great but we were on the first floor so the view from our balcony was just fair. Breakfast was good. The view in the breakfast area was nice.

This place is so quaint and unique. The driveway is a bit treacherous but fun to navigate. Our room had an amazing view of the city from our balcony. Breakfast was decent for a continental breakfast. They were continuously cleaning and stocking. Our only minor complaints were; The door let a ton of light in at night and all of the doors were extremely loud when they were shut. We were abruptly awakened several times by the occupants in the room across from us because it sounded like a door SLAMMING in our room. Other than that, we had a great stay, the staff were super friendly. We would definitely return.

This historic hotel has beautiful rooms and a great view of the Ohio and downtown Historic Madison. I highly recommend it if you are visiting Madison. Make sure you request a river-side room.

6/10 Bueno

The bed room was nice. The staff were friendly. The view was amazing especially at sunset. However the fact that there was a humidifier in the room that needed to be empty twice while in overnight stay and a meh breakfast makes it a little low on score.
