Checkin lady (Christianne) was not friendly. She said nothing was available despite being able to book online. Gave a credit card for the typical incidentals - but she didn’t pre-auth, she charged my card - but didn’t find this out until after I got home… when I called, I spoke to the same woman who was rude on the phone, continually spoke over me, denied taking charges and flat out lied about their processes and the ability to contact anyone. Despite multiple calls and being told eventually that it would be taken care of - I have yet to receive my refund!!! The room she gave us was a pet room (which she lied about also) that came with that awesome funky smell and which was, apart from the bed sheets, DIRTY. Thick dirt on baseboards and on the floor in the corners.. the bathtub had dirt rings on the drain end… If we hadn’t been travelling so far and had such a frustrating checkin I would have requested a different room. I would not stay here again. Disappointing - The Coast is usually a go to stay for us in any town.. but this was not a nice experience by any means. :(
