It was a place to sleep, close to many restaurants and bars. The continental breakfast was a donut with nothing to drink.
It was priced right. Easy to find.Customer service was great.,friendly,helpful.I would recommend to any one who is traveling.
Extremely friendly and efficient check in. Rooms are super clean. Some rooms are more updated than others but very comfortable, clean stay either way.
Great place to stay. Close to downtown & where we needed to go. Clean and well kept.
AC was cold, water was hot, and room was clean! Great location, only a couple of blocks from bars and restaurants. I’m not sure why there are so many poor reviews, do people expect 5 star quality for 1 star price! This hotel was perfect for my needs, and I’ve stayed in more expensive places for a camping spot!,
A half a dozen people were there approx 1433. No one in sight. No one anywhere. I returned an hr later to be told (he was defending himself) "we dont open until 3pm. This mirning no coffee because they open at 0800. I took a pic of my watch below the sign...AFTER 0800 and still vlosed.
Nice location clean older motel.
Run down Motel with residents living there. They all came out at 10pm to hang in front of their rooms and smoke cigarettes. Air conditioner did not work and it’s across from a prison. Front desk lady was awesome. Very understanding.
We booked 2 rooms. Neither room had hot water the first night and the second room had brown dirty handprints in the shower, what appeared to be feces smeared on the toilet lid, and the sink drained excessively slowly. We called the desk but it wasn't manned. There was a note on the door with a number. We left 2 messages and they got back to is the next day. Luckily we had hot water then. The other issues were never fixed. They never offered to change rooms for us. The hotel is dated and that's perfectly fine, but the lack of cleanliness was appalling.
The hotel location, across from the Pennington Jail was seedy at best. The parking lot was not big enough and had to park on the street across from the hotel. The bathroom was moderately gross - the grout was stained with black, which I assume may have been mold. The water was good and hot, nice pressure. The bed was cheap and not a lot of support. There were about 6 large bags of trash under the stairs in the middle of the complex, unsightly at best, not to mention the rodents and bugs it would attract. The stairwell to the east, the steps were of two different heights, and very small to navigate up or down. The crowd there appeared to be of mixed backgrounds, old beat up cars to Harley Davidson bikes. Although the rooms were non smoking, the room smelled like smoke because everyone was sitting on the balcony smoking. I will say the young lady who checked us in did have a nice attitude and a lovely smile. She acted as if she worked at the Alex Johnson and she was very sweet.
