We were very surprised with the high quality of the hotel, although difficult to find it was in a perfect location. The room was very big and the room facilities were as good as I've seen in any hotel. The breakfast was limited but enough to have a choice of dishes throughout our 3 night stay. The rooftop bar is an added bonus and service is second to none. For us the bar directly below our room caused no issues, yes it was noisy but hey we were enjoying a late night drink right on our doorstep. Kotor itself is incredible and far exceeded our already high expectations. Please visit and stay here you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful hotel in the very heart of town so the location is perfect. There is a bar / club directly below with blasting techno music until 1am. We stayed up each night till then as there’s no way to fall asleep. Other than that, the staff are very helpful and friendly and location is unbeatable

The room was spacious, I was glad I was travelling with my partner otherwise the glass bathroom would’ve been quite inconvenient. Some bits of the hotel felt a bit tired but overall it was a great hotel in the middle of old town. Breakfast was amazing and the portions were generous.

Great little hotel, nice staff, good location. Enjoyed the breakfast. Only downside is the very loud music from nearby club that goes till 1am in the morning. Not the hotel's fault but doesn't allow for a restful night's sleep.

Such a nice place to stay at the end of our trip through the balkans. The room was lovely and in a great location. The noise from the surrounding bars was noticeable but we were warned as soon as we booked. My sister struggled to sleep but I had no problem. If you are a light sleeper, it may not be for you. Didn’t affect my experience of the place. Had a lovely time.

Very nice boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Easily accessible from any of the town gates and only a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station. Roof terrace is lovely for breakfast, lunch or just a drink and a book. One word of warning, that is nothing to do with the hotel per se, but room 102 is right above The Old Town Pub across the street and it is extremely noisy until 1am. Bring ear plugs or go for a room on a higher floor on the other side of the hotel. Unless you’re one of the revellers out until the early hours!

Located in the heart of the old town Kotor, Hotel Hippocampus is an excellent boutique hotel. Just 3 min walking from both sea gate and river gate, hotel Hippocampus is manned by excellent friendly staffs. Our superior room was very clean, beautiful stylish luxurious interior, very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. The breakfast served was freshly made and tasteful. Highly recommended for a perfect stay in Kotor.
