Great stay at Alpenlodge. The hotel's location was about a 15 minute uphill walk from the train station. Room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The deck view of the Matterhorn was incredible! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but wish more than one egg were included. Would definitely stay here again! Spectacular facility

We had a truly lovely stay at Alpenlodge. We are a family of four, and we were given a spacious room with breathtaking views of the Matterhorn. The breakfast was superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely love to come back and stay even longer next time. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

Meget fin og hyggelig hotel, med adgang til lille spa. Sødt og venligt personale og lækker morgenmad. Vi havde værelse med balkon og udsigt over Matterhorn. Dejligt ophold. Hotellet ligger dog op ad en bakke, så man skal lige orke gåturen.

Incredible views, beautiful property (especially the furniture), great breakfast, good location not far from the center of town. Really nice staff and the rooms were spacious and modern bht really charming and cool. One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Would definitely go back.

Fantastic property. What a treat to be waking up to the view of Matterhorn outside your window. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, down to specialty coffee, and we even got advice on the hikes we were considering:) We loved our stay at Alpenlodge!

Beautiful all around! The room faced the Matterhorn as promised. Felt safe and at home the finishing, mostly hand crafted were amazing. Only advice I’d give is to take a taxi from the train station. It’s not a 15 minute walk as google will tell you. It’s a strenuous uphill hike. If you have luggage it’s very hard if you’re not used to higher altitudes. But it did not detract from the experience!

An absolutely amazing stay! The property is well-maintained and has a wonderful "Swiss vibe" that our kids loved. It’s located just outside the town center—perfect if you don't mind a brief walk or taxi ride. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were meticulously cleaned every single day. We would stay there again!

Our whole family loved staying at the Alpenlodge! Everything is laid out perfectly. The room was incredible and everyone slept comfortably. The furniture was designed and built by one of the owners. Staff is so kind and helpful! Breakfast was delicious too! We wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else if we visit Zermatt again.

Beautiful property 15 minute (up hill) walk away from the busy central area/ train Several outdoor seating areas with gorgeous views of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, including eggs, made to order. Staff was very helpful! Presented itself more as a B&B than hotel. Only downside was a bit noisy between rooms.

Quaint property owned and run by a friendly husband and wife team. Breakfast was quite good. The owners were attentive and gave good tips about Zermatt. Beautiful views of Matterhorn from the balcony. No AC but we didn't need it. Only issue is that it can be a bit of a hike uphill from the town, if you are not used to it.
