二泊する予定が飛行機に遅れ一泊のみとなってしまいました。 しかし、トレッキングや景色や料理など存分に楽しめました。 白夜でしたので夜中に起きてマッターホルンを登る光の列を見たときや明け方の真っ赤なマッターホルンは感動しました。 お部屋はお湯も出てトイレも水洗。洗面にコンセントもあり、山の上とは思えないしっかりしたホテルでした。

Amazing ambiance of high mountains

Amazing mountain ambiance - that was my second time staying in this hotel. Matterhorn view from my balcony, good breakfast and excellent dinner, friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately it gets booked up very quickly during the summer so it’s really hard to get.

Basic place but great views and ski in ski out

We stayed for four days, which was a bit long. The views are spectacular but the place is pretty basic so we got tired after a while (no access to the village after 16). Food was quite bad (breakfast was basic but ok, dinners were low quality). Would recommend for a few days if you are looking for a basic stay with ski in ski out!

They had zero backup plan for poor weather, and literally cancelled one of our booked days without any plan to compensate. We had to find our own accommodations for that night. Upon arriving the next day, the staff were clearly overworked and never had any idea what was going on. This hotel added unnecessary stress to our trip due to incompetence and poor planning

The location is breathtaking, but the hotel should be clear that the final gondola up is around 4p up front in their marketing material. The staff was not communicative via email once the issue was identified 7 and 2 days prior to arrival. The accommodations are spartan but for the most part, comfortable. That said, there are no cards or board games to occupy the time in the evenings. Would not recommend staying for more than a night based on the location.

convenient for photography and clean room

the room with private bathroom is small, basic simple but very clean and warm. from the balcony you face Matterhorn and very convenient for photography. and this is the reason i booked. just want everyone know that there is no water kettle in the room, only one power socket on the wall which is next to the door, and one in the bathroom.

Unsere Erfahrung mit dem Hotel Schwarzsee war durchwachsen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die exponierte Lage, gute Aussicht aus den Zweibettzimmern und das freundliche Personal, insb. im Restaurant, sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Negativ war unser Zimmer, in welchem Teile des Fussbodens und Mobiliar defekt waren. Gestört hat uns vor allem die Dusche: im Stehen Duschen war nicht möglich, da der Schlauch dafür zu kurz war, dazu Schimmel in den Fugen. Vor Ort angesprochen versprach die Rezeption zu schauen was sich tun ließe, passiert ist jedoch nichts. Solche Mängel dürfen auch bei einem für Zermatt ordentlichen Preis für die exponierte Lage einfach nicht entstehen. Einfacher Standard ok, aber doch bitte nicht in diesem renovierungsbedürftigen Ausmass!
