I recently stayed at Manor Spacious Aldea, and overall, it is a beautiful place. The property is spacious, nicely decorated, and in a great location. It’s also conveniently located near many of the activities you’ll want to experience in Tulum, including the amazing Yax-Muul Cenote, which was only a short drive away.
When we first arrived, there were a few issues. There were ants in one of the bedrooms, including in the bed my son was supposed to sleep in, and we found a water bug in the room as well. The water had a strong odor, and one of the bathroom toilets was not working.
I contacted the owner, and she responded quickly, politely, and professionally. She sincerely apologized, offered to come herself or send someone to fix the issues, and even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. She also explained that because the property is located in the jungle, it’s possible for insects and other wildlife to occasionally get into the home, which I completely understand.
Despite the issues we experienced upon arrival, I appreciated the owner’s excellent communication and willingness to make things right. Overall, it was a beautiful place to stay, and with a few maintenance improvements, it would be an even better experience.
