Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very good restaurant attached. Good A/C unit in room provided needed white noise as was located directly above bar facilities. Excellent for pets and very reasonable rates would 100% stay again.

It's an older building (50 years plus) but it's clean, safe and quiet. Quirky (check in at the bar) but that's okay. Kathy is amazing. She and her Mom have been working there for awhile. Amazing team. I'd stay there again.

After being in primarily tourist locations and hotels for the previous 4 days the Wildwood Hotel was a perfect break. The staff was friendly and attentive. We spent some time in the bar meeting the locals our second night there and enjoying the company and storytelling. The room was large and had everything you could need for a good night's rest. The hotel is older with character that is well earned and appreciated. We would recommend this to anyone who appreciates a quieter and more casual environment. The location for us was very conveniently between Jasper and Edmonton which was perfect for us as we came from Jasper. We spent the next day in Edmonton before heading South the second day on the Cowboy Trail. This location made our travel plan very easy.

Just a note that I would not recommend booking via an external booking platform like this as there's discrepancies between the in house pricing and the online pricing. You're best giving them a call and booking direct if possible! The ladies behind the bar did honor the price I was given on here but it caused a little bit of confusion. Hotel was dated but clean and comfortable, the attached saloon was good fun and the food at the restaurant was pretty decent and quick to come out . Service was excellent in all outlets, we even sat down for a beer with Gladys from behind the bar who was a hoot 😊
