Reception only part time manned but each one of the young staff were friendly and helpful. Hot water in the sink tap, but none in the shower, otherwise great few days for my work trip. Thank you

Stay was fine, but a bit old fashioned. Useful for a quick stopover if you’re not staying in the room too much.

Room was dirty, last persons rubbish was down the side of the bed. There was no hot water for the shower, ie cold shower. Reception is only manned during certain hours and could get hold of anyone on the phone But good location

The over-the-bath shower could not be adjusted to achieve a suitable shower water temperature. The likely reason is that the cold water pressure was too high for the mixer taps to achieve a suitably mix of hot & cold water. Consequently only lukewarm showers were available. There were no members of staff around to report this issue to

Hotel was ok and very well situated but NO HOT shower all weekend even though we mentioned it twice. There was no communication from staff about this matter except that it was a problem with the whole premises they were working on Reception is only covered on a limited basis but there is a contact number. On the first day our card key stopped working but fortunately, on check-in, the receptionist had given us the code for the key box. Due to the fact that, as mentioned, reception is only covered on a limited basis we could have been locked out for a considerable amount of time. Overall due to these 2 quite important matters this is the reason we are only giving it 2 stars
