The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip. Great hospitality with a fresh modern look. No fears with this not being a large chain. We hope to return soon.

First time we checked into a hotel that did everything virtually. It was odd and my wife missed the personal touch. BUT everything went smoothly and we had a great stay. One of the rooms on our floor must have flooded because the hotel had to call people in to resolve the water leak that went from the second floor to the parking area. Other than fans in the hallway, it didn't disturb our stay.

Easy key-less check-in administered by text messages. Your phone needs to stay charged to remember the codes, or take a screen shot, or have a great memory of 3 #’s. The rooms are very clean and modern. What I did not like - for a light sleeper it is not ideal. I found the bed uncomfortable and there was a constant generator/broiler-like humming that made it difficult to fall asleep. The walls are very thin so any talking in the hallway, showers taken next door, were easily palpable to hear. Luckily my neighbors were quiet. The Roku tv did not provide much live sports tv options. It was fine for the the event I was there for, but I probably would not stay there again.

I booked through Expedia back in May for a rate that was 2X the current rate that could be obtained directly from the hotel. This is WAY TOO MUCH for a hotel that offers limited service - get your own towels, take out your own trash, and room cleaning only twice per week (if you sign up for it). There is no pool. There is no breakfast. The room rate now on the hotel web site is less than half of what I paid. BUYER BEWARE. Make sure you know what you are paying for with the Dexter by Kasa. There are many other options in town offering greater value.

The check in process was very frustrating. I arrived around 7:00pm and there were no employees on site. I never received a check in link and walked around the building until I found a QR code but still needed an access code. I had to call customer service for help. This took about 15 minutes in total. I finally entered inside and the building was very nice. There’s a bar that not yet finished. So there aren’t really any amenities. The room was clean but had an odd smell. Similar to cooked broccoli. There was a shared door to the neighboring room and it is PAPER THIN. The people in the neighboring room were drunk and loud. The bed itself was comfortable but the pillows were flat. The bathroom is very nice and the room is spacious. However, the shower ran out of hot water for a few minutes. This happened twice. The location was close to the downtown and marina which made walking around convenient. I voiced my complaints to the company and they offered a 10% off my next stay which the place already feels a bit overpriced. Overall, the hotel is nice if all you’re looking for is a place to sleep in the area. Just be prepared if you show up to check in past 6:00pm and pray you don’t have noisy neighbors.

I was very disappointed with my stay due to the lack of communication and customer service. The hotel did not clearly advertise that front desk staff would not be available to assist with check-in. After arriving on an early flight, I discovered there was no way to check in even if there was a room ready. What made the situation even more frustrating was that check-in was not available until 3:50 PM, despite check in at most hotels in the world is 3:00 PM. The onsite staff were unable or unwilling to provide assistance or assign an access code, leaving guests with no options other than waiting. Another major issue was the complete lack of drinking water. There was no bottled water provided in the room and no water available anywhere on the property for guests. After traveling, I had to order water through Uber Eats at an additional cost of nearly $20. The property itself may be acceptable, but the lack of communication regarding the self-check-in process, the delayed room access, the absence of basic amenities such as drinking water, and the unhelpful response from onsite personnel made for a very poor guest experience. I would recommend that management be more transparent about their check-in procedures and provide basic guest services and amenities that travelers reasonably expect.
