Room was freezing when I checked in, like maybe 35 degrees, took a while to warm up. Check in was kind of slow, after someone showed up to check me in. Room was comfortable once it warmed up and the new guy at the front desk was pleasant. If you like train horns at 5 am you’ll love this place. Forsyth is a railroad town so that’s hard to avoid.

The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. They were always polite and made sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they care about their guests. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was nice, and everything in the room and bathroom was kept very tidy. Housekeeping did a good job during my stay. The location is also great. A lot of places to eat are just a short walk away, and it’s easy to get around town from the hotel. It’s nice not having to drive everywhere. This is a solid place to stay if you’re in Forsyth. Good people, clean rooms, and a convenient location.

the hotel is comfortable and clean and a good basic breakfast was included. The only reason for the 4 star was my personal choice and dislike of pillow top mattresses. For me it feels like I am sleeping on marsh mellows. But some people like them... The hotel was worth the price and was good for an overnight.

One of the legs in the table felt like it was about to break off which normally isn’t a big deal but I did have paperwork to do and it was difficult with the wobble. I don’t think the room had been vacuumed from the previous guest as there was things all over the floor. I went to brew a cup of coffee and there was an old used coffee bag still in there. The Kleenex box was empty as well as the shampoo dispenser. The bed was comfortable and after a long tiring day that’s what I was needing most.

Check-in took a far too long 15 minutes while the person on staff was on a long phone call with someone regarding what to do about two other guests, one who had paid and one who hadn’t. The clerk was sufficiently pleasant and able to answer questions once she finally got off the phone. The breakfast area right near the front desk was small and uninviting, two cold cereals and bananas, so we didn’t bother with it the next morning. For a pet friendly hotel, there was no place to take our dog other than we were directed to go behind the property where there was tall grass, junk cars and buildings full of junk, and looking sketchy. The bathroom was excellent, clean, with what appeared to be new tile and a good tub/shower, 2 sinks and a nice large counter. There was a tissue dispenser, but it was empty. The fridge contained partially used items from a previous guest. The TV did not work, it was connected according to written instructions that were incorrect. We finally figured out how to reconnect it. For about $170 a night, definitely seemed over priced. The building was somewhat dated and poorly maintained. Would not stay here again.

We stayed for one night. A few notes: the room is simple and straightforward. Glad they had direct tv. Wi-Fi was slightly patchy, but worked just fine. No real amenities other than the refrigerator and microwave. For a safe place to spend the night passing through, I’d recommend
