Sijainti oli ok ja paikallisbussit meni läheltä. Liikkuminen ympäri saarta oli helppoa. Huone oli siisti ja isokokoinen. Ainoa vaan, ettei se ollut kovinkaan hyvin äänieristetty. Olin kadun puolella ja kaikki meteli lähibaareista kuului yötä myöten huoneeseen. Jouduin nukkumaan joka yö korvatulpat korvissa.

Hôtel très bien placé dans le quartier de paceville, avec beaucoup de bus à côté. Chambre très propre et bien équipée. Personnel disponible. Le petit hic mais surtout pour la plaine saison, la piscine et le rooftop est assez petit. Cependant très bon rapport qualité prix,je recommande vraiment cet hôtel !

The room was clean, lots of shops and things to do nearby and the pool was very quiet which was great. Big downside to our stay was the fact we arrived to the hotel at 2am but was given the wrong code for the door. We tried the emergency number but the staff member who answered hung up on myself and my partner several times. We were stood outside the building for almost 30 minutes, trying to gain access / get help from the emergency contact number. Eventually they replied and told us the correct door code and all was okay. Not a nice experience, lots of drunk people around us whilst we tried to gain access to the hotel after a long travel day. When I told the receptionist the following morning, I didn’t get any sort of apology just “oh okay”. Something to be mindful of if you’re looking at an early morning arrival due to flights!

Waited an extra hour to check in because the room wasn’t ready. Dirty towels, no hair dryer, broken tv, view outside of the window was terrible, definitely not worth it

JL Hotel is very well located, just a short walk from the beach and extremely close to a busy nightlife and clubbing area. Because of this, it is far more suited to singles, couples, and solo travellers rather than families. It is not particularly family-friendly, especially in terms of accessibility. There are stairs all the way up to reception, and the reception area itself is very small. This makes the hotel inconvenient for guests with heavy or large luggage, pushchairs, or wheelchairs. In addition, reception is not manned after certain hours, and the hotel operates largely on a self-service basis, with guests required to contact the hotel via a provided number if assistance is needed outside reception hours. This can be inconvenient if issues arise late at night. One further point worth noting is that the entire hotel is very dimly lit, including the entrance, lift areas, and corridors leading to the rooms. While this may be an energy-saving measure, it is not ideal from a safety or comfort perspective, particularly for guests who are uncomfortable in dark spaces or who prefer well-lit communal areas. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean, and well equipped. One downside was the amount of signage warning guests about charges for damage to linen, towels.

Hotel price is fair for the clean quality room in a central location. The room was a bit loud as this hotel is located in the party area of Malta with parties going past 2am. But if you’re tired, you’ll sleep. This hotel was one of many we stayed in as we toured around Europe and the only one to request an additional deposit. But other than noise and random deposit this hotel was decent.
