Great stay in St Juliens.

Fantastic location and view. This hotel is ideal for a short stay break. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and received a bottle of wine from the hotel which was a touch of class. Breakfast was very good and the pool area was immaculate.

Room and hotel was very clean. Breakfast was great, i am gluten free / coeliac and had plenty options to choose from hot and cold including cereal and bread. Beds are very hard. We had an issue with our first room as the toilet stopped working but they were quick to allow us to move rooms. The second room was great however the electric wouldn't work each time we went back to the room we had to reset the power each time. The shower in the second room was also only freezing cold or scalding hot. There was building works going on in the hotel that started before 9am and were very loud, especially in our first room. This was not mentioned anywhere on booking. The changing rooms by the pool and the gym were also out of order. Overall the location is ideal and the hotel overall is nice, especially the pool area overlooking the bay. But customers should be notified of all the closures and building works when theyre expecting to go away for a relaxing holiday

Great location with really nice sea room views. Check in isn’t great. Don’t expect to be let in before 3pm they keep you waiting right until the last minute. I asked for a king bed they gave me twin beds instead. Mattresses are so springy you won’t get a good nights sleep and there is nothing but a single sheet to cover the mattress either. No phone in my room so can’t call reception or room service. Hotel had work going on so lots of banging and drilling which wasn’t ideal for a relaxing stay. Bathrooms in superior sea view room are really small and not in good condition. The main room was nice and clean as cleaners do come daily. The best part of the hotel was the buffet breakfast. There was so much variety and the breakfast staff were so friendly and helpful unlike the check in staff. The hotel has so much potential being in a great location with easy access to all local amenities but it lacks in service. Small details like early check in should be offered and basic facilities in the room like a phone would help. Check in staff don’t tell you what facilities are available and fail to give basic information that you would expect on arrival. We didn’t feel welcome therefore wouldn’t recommend or return here.

We had a marina view room but could still see the sea. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was really good. We unfortunately had an adjoining room and our neighbours weren’t quiet! The door between the two rooms was ill fitting and offered no sound protection. Better sound proofing would be good. Clean towels every day. Indoor pool very small and shallow but nice in the winter time.

Out stay was brilliant but they are currently refurbing the rooms. We were in an older style room, the bedroom was pretty good but the bathroom was very dated and basic...All still good and clean though. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and pool area with indoor and outdoor pools was lovely. Great location, was made by having a seaview. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

4/10 Fair

Room wasnt cleaned or maintained well. Bathroom was particularly worn and poorly laid out. Brought a marina view package and was on the opposite side of the building with a view of the carpark mostly hardly any of the marina. Felt the room wasnt also cleaned well throughout the stay also a lack of a woking air conditioning leading me to using the balcony sliding door to regulate the temperature. Issue with that is i have no suffered mosquito bites as a consequence. Food was a 5/10 of 10 felt more of a service with the bar and other restaurant on location. Which is why the score is average as I had my best time and meal there of the stay

2 elevators was in use. 1 i didnt even dare to go on, because when it opened, it wasnt even level with the floor, by far. The other had some kind of malfunction, and started to stop on every floor, before reaching the desired floor. Fix those elevators. Got told this has been like this since september. Food was ok, cutlery and napkins should always be the same place every morning. The customer doesnt need to go an extra round to find it. Room was nice and clean. Shower could use more power from water. The placement of the hotel is also very nice.

Lovely stay at the hotel. Beautiful views, comfortable and spacious room. The tv could use an HDMI port to plug in a Chromecast to stream netflix etc... Pool area was great, staff really nice, var selection good. The spa: one of the best massages I ever had.

Breakfast choices are plenty and food is good. Staffs are very helpful. Room is clean. The best part for our stay is you can comfortably lounging around by the swimming pool all day, and have a dip into the sea whenever you like.

I had a lively stay at this hotel. Room was beautiful and modern and very spacious which was great. Pool could use an update. Restaurants and cafes in hotel were also great. I personally prefer Sliema to stay in Malta as it is a bit quieter. If you are looking to be in amongst the night life this is a great place to stay as it is in the heart of st Julian’s

amazing breakfast options including gluten free , cooked, sweet pastries and lovely staff all round - specifically a friendly chef in the restaurant area who advised of us places to go (unfortunately can’t remember his name!) They let us check in earlier and prioritised our room getting cleaned to do so. Also stored our luggage for early check in and also on our last day which was super helpful and convenient. They provide towels for sunbeds and cleaning/ room service was spotless no issues. The only issue we ran into was our room door wouldn’t lock but they fixed this very quickly on the same day. Also there’s a safe in the rooms for valuables. The rooms and beds are large and great size balcony comes with a mini fridge. The only feedback I’d say is the bottom of our bathroom door was water damaged from where water leaks out from the walk in shower, so it didn’t close properly! But apart from that the bathroom was great, towels can be replaced daily and no major concerns :)

Fabulous position overlooking St Julian's bay and the marina and from the outside, the hotel looks very classy. Inside however is a different story. The hotel is let down by the dull and basic furnishings, the ongoing issues with the lifts (only one decent lift working) and one in a state of disrepair and blocked off. The working one was very slow and I'd have hate to be using them in high season. The staff lacked basic communication skills and looked miserable, although the lady who cleaned our room and spoke no English had a lovely smile. The bathroom was very small for a superior room, with a walk in shower which was very temperamental in getting the temperature right. Views from our room were amazing and about the best part. We didnt use the pools, as outdoor was too cold (December) and indoor was very underwhelming. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good selection of hot/cold but the plastic chairs again gave a very basic feel to the dining area. The patio doors were very stiff and difficult to open/close. The air con in the room did not work. Room safe required swiping of a card and the condiments in the room were very sparce. Overall, its rated as 4 star for the facilities but did not have the feel of a 4 star, more 3. Disappointing but did the job for a 2 night stay. Don't think I'd return.

The 1 start review is for the Manager on duty, between Aug 20th and Aug 22nd, 2025, when I stayed here. I checked in around 14:00, and as a Expedia Platinum member for years, I thought I get some good service and a good room, which most hotels I stay at around the world provides. But no, not here. I got a room on the first floor right above the lobby facing the street where the taxis drop off. Tried to take a late afternoon nap because I was jet lagged but couldn't due to the noice. Went down to request a room change from the front desk staff, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager refused to come out to speak to me. I went 3 times that same day, to request another room and to speak to the manger, each time, the staff went to the back office and came back, the manager was busy. Also did the same on the second day, Aug 21st, but no, the manager too busy. Absolute terrible customer service. If the manager doesn't dare to face its paying customers, perhaps the hospitality industry is not for you. I hope your boss will read this and send you back to the mailroom where you belong. For the room, they are old, cheap small sheets that don't even cover the bed, so you wake up touching the old mattress. Super old wooden closet, where the door was broken. The pool is nice, the restaurant food was very basic and bland without flavor. Big plus however for a very impressive breakfast buffet. The hotel is in a good area, also a good plus. Honest review this.
