We had a short weekend trip and the stay was lovely. The hotel is in a great location- walking distance to shops and restaurants with easy parking. It was clean and comfortable, it can get a bit loud if people are talking loudly or slamming doors but nothing too bothersome. Great stay!

We loved our stay- the room was so well presented/had everything we could need, and we felt so well looked after by all staff. We enjoyed the breakfast, and drinks on the rooftop bar were definitely a highlight! We had dinner one out of the two nights we were staying, which was also lovely. Highly recommend if you’re in the Litchfield area!

The Abner Hotel is a truly unique venue. It is the old Litchfield county courthouse but entirely renovated with an interesting style. The Abner is in the heart of the town of Litchfield, a wonderful New England historic town. You can walk to many great shops, restaurants, and to the Historic Society museum. The room was very comfortable and clean. Included breakfasts were excellent. There is a well-reviewed restaurant that serves dinner and a cocktail bar on the roof that provides great views of the countryside.

This is a charming boutique hotel, and everything important is new. The staff members were upbeat and helpful, and the woman who runs the complimentary breakfast is superb. There are ample EV chargers in the parking lot adjacent to the hotel. We are recommending the Abner to friends and family.

I actual live in town and always wanted to stay here with my wife and dine here. Super clean room, very chill atmosphere, well decorated and most importantly, a comfortable bed. The staff was incredible and very attentive. But the real shinning star was the Courthouse restaurant, probably one of the best meals I’m going to have this year. Great vibes, great staff and amazing food. 5/5 stars, would highly recommend staying.

Thr Abner was a wonderful stay! The property is beautifully maintained and they surprised us with an upgraded room. The Verdict, the roof top bar was a great experience, we had some pre-dinner cocktails and hummus. The staff throughout the Abner, from the front desk to the breakfast room were attentive and pleasant. The breakfast included overnight oats, yogurt and granola, chia seed pudding, fresh fruit and a delicious zucchini frittata! The room was well appointed and emaculately clean. We will definitely visit again!

This is my litchfield go to spot. The location is spectacular the staff is so friendly and professional the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is not to be missed and the restaurant is comfortable savvy . The rooftop is amazing (when open).

This is a gem of a place. I have stayed at the abner many times and am delighted to say it is always a treat. The hotel is warm charming sparkling clean and perfectly located with shopping and dining just outside your doors. The rooms are comfortably appointed with all the extras of a posh stay . The breakfast is a must and don’t skip the frittata. Dinner is a cozy culinary experience with an ample menu to cover many tastes but dine exquisitely. If open do not miss out on the rooftop lounge and bar perfectly cultivated for cocktails and conversation.
