My stay on the 5th floor was decent. It looks recently renovated and they tried to make it look premium, but you could tell it was a bit of a rush job and not much thought was put into the layout. But those are cosmetic details and aren’t deal breakers.
The bed is made, but don’t think sheets and comforter are changed often. Towels (except shower mat) are changed daily, but do have some stains. One towel was really gross, looked like someone wiped their butt and then folded it back neatly. So I just tossed it on the floor for housekeeping. Kettle was clean, but cups a bit dirty, as if they just poorly rinsed them in the sink because I could see coffee stains. Water bottles, tea, and coffee provided. Good WiFi connection.
Since it’s located in the bustling Old Quarter, don’t expect quiet. There were no blinds, just frosted glass so there will be plenty of natural light to wake you. I didn’t mind, but just a word of caution for light sleepers.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had them take some clothes in the morning for laundry and got it back later that night and was given the weight. I was told to pay at checkout. The next morning, the same receptionist said they made a mistake and I had to pay for an extra kg. I didn’t have time to contest as my driver was waiting. Maybe that’s their tactic, tell you to pay as you leave when you’re likely in a rush and will concede. They need a scale onsite like most other hotels. I would stay again, but avoid other services
