This property was just renovated in 2025 and it shows. Things are fairly clean and new. It's in a great location near the major roads and shopping. Rooms are convenient bc it has kitchenettes. Normal hotel breakfast (sausage, fake eggs, eagles, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, etc.). Only complaints are that the hallway smells a little (though not in the rooms) and there are still little things in the public areas where the renovation is still not done. I'd definitely stay here again.

The king bed efficiency room was great! Spacious room, comfortable bed, and clean modern bathroom. Kitchen area nice with large refrigerator and even a dishwasher. Breakfast was great with eggs, potatoes and waffles. The front of the property was clean. However, looking out the back door a different story. Construction debris, and even furniture all over the place. Small grass area where the grass was a foot high. Honestly, the hotel should be embarrassed by this, it would only take a couple of hours to completely clean this up.

THe room was very clean and looked to be recently renovated. I had no ionteraction with the staff except at checkin. They didn't make any efffort to talk with me. This is a non-sprinklered building. The fire door at the first floor of the central stair has been removed. They are storing a ladder, lawn mower and who knows what in the stair. Flagrant violations of the Uniform Fire Code and serious life safety hazard. The first floor fire door to one of the exit stairs was blocked open. I won't be back. Trying to decide if I want to send photos of the code violations to local authorities. Pass this on to Choice Hotels.

After reading reviews, I decided to take a chance and book for a softball tournament my daughter was having down the street. I arrived very late due to a long drive. My first impression was that the parking lot was sketchy and I honestly should have turned around and left before entering the hotel because it only got worse. The elevator sounds like it’s going to break any moment. The room was technically clean but the entire hotel smells like food, extremely pungent and overwhelming. I’m sensitive to scent and it was awful, the kind that immediately sticks to you. I wasn’t staying here with my daughter. I asked for a refund and offered to pay for the one night and split with them. They refused any refund as they believe they offered a solution. I ultimately understand their policy so not complaining about that… I know I am not entitled to one but hoped they would be reasonable. It’s more to warn people to not stay here. The reviews are misleading and inaccurate. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the two dozen other hotels in the area.
