Good for the price
The room smelled like smoke and mildew. They had many hidden fees and their office hours were very limited. The locks and doors were broken so it took a lot of effort to even get into the room. The bed wasn't super comfortable. I recommend staying somewhere else
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The staff was very friendly. The room was as advertised. As noted in many other posts, the hotel is very old and needs to be updated, but then again it would cost more if they did that. You get what you pay for here. It is a good hotel for an inexpensive price. If you want a nice, new, up-to-date, room, stay at they Marriott. If you want an OK, inexpensive, room, this is a good option.
The room smelled really bad. There was a man in the back og the hotel who was high and asked me of i was the person to sell him something, real creepy.
Stopped for two days in Moab to visit local national parks. Motel is probably too far to walk to restaurants bit during winter doesn't matter too much. Room was big and clean and quiet which is just what was needed.
Perfect no frills kind of place. Nothing fancy but great location and a great place to rest and relax after a full day
Not too clean, furniture old. Needs major updating. I feel that price is too much for the terrible room. I paid $79/night. To me, it should be 35-40/night
Overall decent. Bed was a little firmer then i like and tv remote barely worked However. Housekeeping came way to early and never came back, had to get fresh towels in the morning
The motel is very old. I’m guessing they are relying on it being vintage, but it’s just old and could use some refurbishment. We walked in and the look and smell reminded me of my grandma’s house from the 1950’s. The mattress was worn out. The carpet seemed cheap and needs to be replaced. The bathroom was clean and was the nicest part of the room. The pool was pretty nice, but there were a lot of leaves in the water. They note that John Wayne stayed there and they are on the National Historic Register. That’s great, but they need to find a balance between keeping the history and making the motel comfortable and enjoyable.
