Perhaps once a decent place to stay back in the day, the place is in total despair now. Damaging the Wyndham brand with its unprofessional and dishonest staff, neglected repairs and an elevator ride that feels like ghost train with elevator shaft fully exposed, leading to windowless dungeon rooms.
Please read the comments elsewhere and see how they have an excuse for literally everything, from cleaning staff routinely barging into rooms with no regards to privacy (and instances of theft, ignored by front desk) to consistently failing to meet the most basic responsibilities of an hotel such as cleaning and silence. They made a habit out of blaming the guest for any complaints so save your breath. Expect surprise costs.
Don’t book if you have accessibility needs or any intention to use public transit. You have to connect the main transportation network through Sisli. The streets in between are very steep, full of cars, impossible to traverse and at times without any pavements. Seems close on the map but it’s a true challenge for any person with restricted mobility.
It’s located in a desolate industrial area, bylanes don’t feel safe. Might be a better idea to use the main street. Definitely not recommending to any female solo travelers.
The walls are paper like with terrible soundproofing. I couldn’t rest. Bring headphones to sleep.
The bathroom was super damp during my entire stay.
The cleaning was great. High quality sheet. No bedbugs. But nothing like real Wyndham
