I booked non-smoking Superior King Room, but received room #914 which isn't non-smoking and isn't superior (with stained carpets, full size bed and awful cigarettes smell). I was in a mood to give a very negative review, but after I saw how the housekeeper did her best to clean and ventilate my room, I changed my mind. This is a great hotel. Very upscale incredible breakfast buffet incredible amenities gym hot tub boxing rooms steam rooms etc. Conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Hard to find people that speak English fluently apparently in all of Istanbul but even at this hotel. Also prepare to be at the center of international men's hair transplants in Istanbul. As you will see bandaged men walking throughout the lobby and at breakfast sometimes with a little blood oozing out of the bandages. Bandaged men at the hotel city streets museums and airports. Get used to it.
