Lovely hotel

So lucky to have found this gem of a hotel in Guethary for a 1 night stop over on a longer drive. Easy to find, in a beautiful town in a lovely area, plenty of parking and looked great from the outside. Charming and rustic local style room, which was perfect and we loved it. All amenities included. The host was so friendly and welcoming, even calling to check our ETA to make sure we had all entry details in case we would be late. We didn’t try the pool or the breakfast but both looked very good. Lots to do in the area and some fantastic local restaurants within short walking distance. A real pleasure to stay and will certainly book again for another trip in the future. Thank you.

Everything about this place was absolutely perfect …from the extremely accommodating staff to the fine decor and delicious, authentic breakfast. I’ve seen a review critical of the bed so want to emphasize that it was THE most comfortable bed I’ve slept in during European travel . Large windows and accessible fans kept us cool despite a heat wave and being on the top floor. My favorite stay in years !

Guéthary is a lovely quiet place with a beautiful beach and great places to eat and drink. The hotel is pretty and perfectly situated but we were attacked by bugs, and the bite marks looked very much like bed bugs, which suggests a surprising level of uncleanliness. One of the receptionists was extremely frosty and we did not feel particularly welcome there. I don't think we quite fit the rich, tanned demographic of the usual visitor. I did pay the same as everyone else, though, so you know, kind of expected nicer service. Ah well

Die Villa ist absolut zu empfehlen, die Chefin charmant und sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns beim Problem mit einem Lieferservice super geholfen. We stayed at this small hotel enroute to Spain.Situated in a pretty coastal resort.The chap who checked us in was very helpful abd friendly abd spoke perfect English.The hotel offers breakfast only and does not have a bar but each room has a stocked minibar. We did not have the breakfast here but the breakfast room looked very comfortable and not overcrowded. There are a number of good restaurants within walking distance.The hotel offers secure parking. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel and our room was spacious and comfortable.

Lovely place for a getaway

We had an amazing stay. The week we were there the weather was horrible, our clothes we all dirty and wet. The hotel did our laundry! I was traveling alone with my two kids, it was a great help. They accommodated breakfast for my gluten allergies, it was simple and delicious. Our room was lovely. We are on the first floor with beautiful garden views. The kids felt like they were staying in a princesses bedroom, it was very charming. The location is in a small town with cafes and a few shops. It’s a five minute walk to the beach. It was too cold and rainy to use the pool which was a disappointment. I highly recommend this hotel.
