This is our second stay at this hotel and will definitely be back. The entire hotel is super clean, beautifully decorated. Staff are super friendly. The rooms are spacious. Hotel is walking distance to downtown which makes this the best Gainesville hotel to enjoy the many shops, restaurants on the Square.

They said that you could in the restaurant breakfast free and they were open for lunch and dinner they lied you had to pay for your breakfast but no lunch or dinner was available so either you get a Uber or walk for lunch and dinner I probably never want to stay there or recommend it to anybody else

Well the bed closets to the bathroom has a dip on the left side of bed where most people sleep. The elevator took 15 minutes per trip up or down 15 minutes so i spent 1hr 15 minutes riding it.

Check in receptionist was nice and friendly. We paid for a king size bed courtyard view and got the street view. Expected a nice breakfast with table service. Was Stand in line like you’re at Starbucks. Girl at checkout was not hospitable. She did not ask how our stay was or anything…just bye. Not impressed with this Marriot.
