The hotel was clean and professionally run. It's not downtown, so you'll need to Uber or drive to the game, but it's a short drive. The onsite restaurant is amazing.

Rivet House is great! It’s pricey, but it’s better than any other hotel in Athens… my only complaint is that the walls are thin. We could hear our neighbor’s TV and entire conversations lol.

Second stay at this property and will stay again. It is well maintained and a true gem of a place for Athens. Still think it is better for couples travel and the bathroom set up is a little awkward if you have children of a certain age.

6/10 Bueno

The property design is really well done. The staff was also very friendly. However the location is not anywhere near downtown as it was described. Nothing is within walking distance. The biggest issue was the train. The property literally sits directly next to the train tracks and the train comes through several times a night. At one point (around 1:00am) it rolled by at maybe 3 miles per hour which caused it to be directly outside our room for nearly 45 min. If you stay at this hotel, definitely request a room on the opposite side of the train.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous overnight at the Rivet House for my birthday! We had made dinner reservations at Osteria Olio and decided to stay the night. The Rivet House is exactly what I had heard, industrial chic! Our room felt upscale, but also very warm and welcoming. The front staff was also exceptional.. Will definitely visit again!
