I had reserved a double room and when I got there I asked to be changed since I was traveling alone and the room had two tiny "twin" size beds, I am pretty sure they are not even twin size beds". However the guy at the front desk was nice enough to offer me another room the next day. It was as in a lot of European hotels, the same two tiny beds put together making one "full" size bed with two comforters and no sheets, just the box sheet and the comforter. Overall the hotel is OK. The good: location is great, half a block from a subway station that connects 3 of the most important subway lines. A 10 minute walk from Ka De We and the shopping district, the area in general is fine, with cute little restaurants on the street behind. The hotel offers a "buffet type" breakfast for 7.50 Euros, very decent and with a lot of options. Linens are pretty basic, toiletries very limited, but overall I had a nice stay. Staff was friendly and willing to help at all times. If you don't look for a fancy hotel but prefer a centrally located hotel with the basics, I would recommend the Sachsenhof. The bad.. Wifi is terrible, had very poor signal in the first room I stayed and NO signal at all in the second one. And depending on the month you visit be aware that the rooms have NO AIR CONDITIONING, only heat. So be prepared.
