The hotel had great views of th coast however, it was not in a centrally located place. If you wanted to visit the Almafi Coast, aim to get a location closer port in order to have easier access to the center, where all the transportation is located to visit other towns/villages. The staff were nice, however the main receptionist would leave each night by 8/9pm which meant the hotel/front desk was left unattended each night and early morning. It’s also a hike up/down to get to th hotel, I believe 500+ steps. I didn’t mind the steps since I was a little more physically active but certain days I wouldn’t even go out to dinner since the public buses take forever and there weren’t much options around the hotel nor was there room service/restaurant options at the hotel. On my last day i had an early flight and had a schedule bus transfer for 7am from the port which meant i had to catch the 6:30am bus, the lift actually stopped working so I was forced to carry my heavy suitices filled with bottles/clothes/souvenirs up 700 steps. By the time I reached the top, I had missed my bus, had to go to the nearest hotel to request a cab and headed to the center. If you’re looking for great views this is an option but not the only one, scout around, but if you absolutely can’t find another hotel that requires less physical activity to reach or that’s not as centrally located then you will survived at la Palme. Overall staff were nice, the pool was nice to visit.
