Quinta da Marka is just WOW!!! The mansion itself is well furnished, quiet, the grounds are well maintained and amazing. The view of the Douro is breathtaking. The pool area is also simply amazing overlooking the Douro. The food and the service we’ve had there we just out of this world. The staff is so amazing and are so helpful and friendly. We had planned on visiting a few wineries during our stay there but were so comfortable that we didn’t move. They also produce their own wine so we just chillax and enjoyed the wine, food, pool, view, and service The ac in rooms was working really well Very highly recommended.

The service was brilliant, with Angela going above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. Stunning property, spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable. We were met by John who took excellent care of us but the other members of staff were just as helpful. The restaurant on site was not only convenient but served a tasty dinner and brekky. The weather was perfect and the pool highly enjoyable, overlooking tbe douro valley/river. I hope to return to this area someday just to stay at quinta da marka! We were fortunate to have the whole place to ourselves and everyone made us feel like we were at home! If you have the chance to have dinner here during your stay you must, its beautiful home cooked foods. Annabelle and her mother took great care of us and made sure we were happy with our meals and would even ask us what we would want nex time. The house is huge and there is plenty to do, from the pool if the weather is warm, plenty of games and books and just watching the beautiful landscape. They also serve food throughout the day if you are hungry whilst there. Don't forget to also try their wines! Thanks also to Angela who was very kind and also took great care of us! Thank you to everyone who took care of us, truly an experience we will never forget and will tell for years

I spent one night here and had a lovely time. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was excellent. We were advised by Angela (the property manager) to ask for room 1 next time which has an incredible view of the valley.

I don’t even know where to begin with this amazing place! Angela and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Truly made us feel like family!
