The hotel and the room was very nice, and check in went smoothly. There is no daily cleaning which we did not need. Coffee, tea, clean towels etc. was available in a closet by the front door.
We arrived on a warm and sunny friday, and the room was very warm. We tried to open the windows as there was no a/c. They did only open 5 cm which did not really help.
We also realised that the room (203) was placed right above a wine bar with loud music and tables outside just below the windows.
So, the room was boiling, and the music was loud, so I decided to politely ask for a more quiet room.
The hotel has no reception, so customer service was via a chatbot on Whatsapp. It was a very tiresome ecperience trying to communicate and finally getting through to a human who was also not very helpful.
They offered us a fan against the heat but then forgot about it again. And they claimed that the wine bar was not their problem and we could not change rooms. I never asked them to do anything about the bar, just to give me a more quiet room.
For every exchange with customer service I had to rate the conversation again and again.
So, the room was nice and the location was great. But if you are in any way sensitive to noise and temperature like me, you might want to stay somewhere else as customer service is not willing to resolve any issues.
